Sungazing
The act of staring directly at the rising or setting sun in the belief that such act will provide nourishment or spiritual fulfillment. Some sungazers claim that they are living without food and are healthy as long as they can gaze.
There is no evidence to support such claims, and most medical professionals will strongly discourage sungazing. The practise is likely to lead to severe damage to the eyes and malnourishment if a person does not eat.
